Slumdog crorepati is about a young 18 year old boy who lives in the slums to go onto a show “Who wants to be a millionaire” and ends up winning 20 crore rupees! and that also to win the love of his life…

And now, someone has decided that the name of the movie, Slumdog Crorepati, is abusive to the “Slum dwellers” and wants to sue the indian actors.

“Petitioner Tapeshwar Vishwakarma, general secretary of the Jhuggi Jhonpdi Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti (a group promoting the rights of slum dwellers), has charged those associated with the film of abusing slum dwellers in the name of entertainment just to earn money and fame. The name “is against the basic human values”, she said.”

kya yaar…. really! and what is Ms.Vishwakarma doing? Isn’t she also using these people in the name of entertainment?! and what will the end result be – won’t it also be money and fame for her!?

And why only the indian actors? why doesn’t she sue the directors or the producer? If she really has a point to prove, why doesn’t she sue them and stop them forever from calling her people names… is this really fair? Is she really rallying for the people or is it about the money?… or is this in a round-about way, PR for the movie?
